The Ancient Order of Hibernians is a Fraternal Organization open to any practicing Catholic men who can trace any of their roots back to Ireland. The AOH has a history that goes back many centuries.

Horry County Division 1, Ancient Order of Hibernians, in Myrtle Beach, SC, was formed in a small room at Shamrock's Bar and Grill in January, 1996 and has grown steadily since then.    It was the first division in South Carolina.   We have since grown to have eight divisions, a County Board and a State Board in South Carolina.   There are more than 370 Divisions in the United States.   There is also a Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in the Grand Strand area.

We participate in Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity activities and promote a better understanding of the Irish heritage we so proudly have.

We would love to have you join us.
